One. I think I've failed my Latin exam. Bleh.
Two. I think I've met my soulmate. He quotes Shakespeare at me, knows which films I quote silly things from, and makes me feel out of my depth in the weird intelligence department. Now if only he wasn't allergic to cats and, oh yeah, would actually ask me out, it'd be perfect.
Three. Go read this. Seriously. I have a lot of issues with Twilight, and this post (by my friend Ally, who is awesome on so many levels) sums them all up incredibly well, as well as being brilliantly written. While you're there, check out her post on Mary Sues as well.
Now to revise for an exam about Atlantis. Meh.

busy
I have too many fics waiting to be written. Someone needs to bribe me, or guilt trip me, or give me a kick up the arse, jfc. Anything to make me fricking write something.
- Mood:
annoyed
"You can't just tranq him!"
Is it bad that the above, besides being the first line of one of my fics, is also a direct quote from me in response to a suggestion of my Dad's?

Taken from
kittygrenade . You can learn a lot about someone by the music they listen to. So here is the game! Hit shuffle on your iPod/iTunes or mp3 player and write down the first 25 songs. No cheating or skipping songs that are shameful.

- Mood:
bored
I suddenly want to write Gordon Ramsey/Jamie Oliver.
This is why I should go to bed at a reasonable time.

Wandering around livejournal before I turn my laptop off and pack it away in preparation for my seven hour journey tomorrow, I realised something: I'm not all that active in my fandoms. I read the fics, I occasionally visit the communities and I write the odd story. But I'm nowhere near as involved as, say,
alethialia or
svmadelyn (both of whom I love, but don't have the courage to really introduce myself to). I miss out on challenges and kink memes, unless my RL friend Sarah sends me a flaily email, and more importantly I don't really know anyone in my fandoms beyond bandom.
This year, I've decided that I'm going to change that, somehow. Spending more time exploring my fandoms is a good place to start, I think. If anyone has any good links to communities, fics, challenges, anything like that, then please leave a comment. My fandoms are many and varied, and I'm so incredibly easy that sometimes just a piscpam will get me into a new one :) Or if you just want to say hi, that's awesome as well :D

I'm so easy. I've seen two episodes of Glee, and already I've got a favourite character, got an OTP, downloaded the music, gone looking for icons and been debating if I can get away with writing fic yet (probably not). Glee is officially my first new fandom of 2010, and I hope I end the year as happily as I've begun it :D
